A camco (cambot) pick and place unit is used for loading and unloading parts processed thru the blasting machine. Cambot is located on front side of blast cabinet.

Theory of Operation

Pick and place unit loads and unloads parts automatically.

Table will index pieces into shot peening cabinet and pneumatically operated doors will close. Blast will start and pick and place unit will unload and load new parts during the blast cycle.

Parts are presented at the load station from a power fed conveyor or gravity fed conveyor.

Pick and place unit will begin its cycle when conveyor senses that parts are in position to be picked up.

Cambot will take parts from the loading position and place them on part fixtures mounted on the indexing table.

While at the same time parts will be unloaded off the indexing table and placed on the unload conveyor.

For other applications of automatic load and unload we can also move your parts with a gantry unit or provide robotic load unload.
