Precision Blasting Indexing Tables
A patented index machine is a rotary table machine with a determined number of index stops or stations. Parts are loaded at each station (ie. 6-station) every 60 degrees on table.
Blast Index Table Parts are run as Follows:
- Load and unload station: parts are placed here for blasting and also unloaded here after blasting.
- Blasting station: parts are blasted with a number of blast guns.
- The guns can be fixed or move in a vertical or horizontal travel
- Parts are being loaded and unloaded during the blast cycle
- Parts are loaded on fixtures that rotate parts at the blast station
- Part rotation and nozzle travel are adjustable
- Media feed and air pressure are also adjustable
3. Air blow off station: parts are blown off with airjets aimed at O.D. and I.D. of part. This is done in a separate chamber out of the blast area. Vertical doors completely seal the blasting enclosure during the blast cycle.
- All units are lined with ¼” polyurethane for wear protection and 2” foam for noise containment
- ¼” polyurethane will out-last rubber liners 30:1
- Bearings in back side of cabinet have blow-offs
- Adjustable gun rods are 1”-1-1/2” solid steel and A2 tool steel (62RC)
- Gun rod holders and locking bolts are made from A2 tool
- Steel (62RC) for long life
