Shot Peening Machines
A patented index machine is a rotary table machine with a determined number of index stops or stations. Parts are loaded at each station, every 60 degrees on table (ie. 6-station).
Parts are run through as follows:
- The guns can be fixed or move in a vertical or horizontal travel
- Parts are loaded and unloaded during the blast cycle
- Parts are loaded on fixtures that will rotate them at the blast station
- Part rotation and nozzle travel are adjustable
- Media feed and air pressure are also adjustable
- All units are lined with ¼" polyurethane for wear protection and 2" foam for noise containment
- ¼" polyurethane will out-last rubber liners 30:1
- Bearings in back side of cabinet have blow-offs
- Adjustable gun rods are 1"-1-1/2" solid steel and A2 tool steel (62 RC)
- Gun rod holders and locking bolts are made from A2 tool
- Steel (62RC) for long life
Load and Unload Station
parts are placed here for blasting and are also unloaded here post blasting
Blasting Station
parts are being blasted with a number of blast guns.
Air Blow Off Station
parts will be blown off with air jets aimed at O.D. and I.D. of part. This is done in a separate chamber out of the blast area. Vertical doors completely seal the blasting enclosure during the blast cycle.

Index machines come in table sizes: 48" / 60"/ 72" / 84" / 96" or 120"
